About
Stéphanie Gygax is a Swiss artist, photographer and educator based in Zurich. She completed a Master's degree in Fine Arts at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), a CAS in Research and Art Knowledge at ZHdK and a diploma of advanced studies in photography in Vevey (CEPV). She is part of near. swiss association for contemporary photography and a newcomer member of Visarte.Her work spans from photography, publishing, installation, sculpture to moving image.
By looking into industrial objects, natural materials or fragments of the everyday life that she repeatedly assembles into new constellations, Stéphanie Gygax shifts their identity and reimagines their active presence in our lives.
